Every time I get to see these ducks, I get excited just as if it was the first time .

A freind of mine is sitting here and she want me to pass on the message, that she has never seen a wood duck is both happy at your picture and IS SOOOOOOOOOoooooenvious!

I would merely comment that this is a beautiful picture WITHOUT the duck, and with the duck... Welllllll

Speaking of ENVIOUS!!!!!!!!! I have been seeing these all over now!!! 2 and 3 pairs at a time. They have to be the most timid duck I have ever encountered. I have lots of blurry pictures of their rumps as they are flying away from me. what a beautiful bird and great captures!!!!

You never see large groups of these guys, three or four pair is usually tops. They are skittish, I have gotten close only one. All of these shots are at 500mm.
