I spotted these Gesse as they cleared a causway over a Resevoir in Putnum County. They then followed an L shaped path, as they flew from shade to sunlight, finally landing on the water.

Handheld, various speeds as the light changed, 800mm Swarovski scope and D2x camera.

Awsome photos Dave. Great colors, exposure and sharpness. I especially like the last photo with the rock formations as the background. Woody
