I have not got a chance to get out and photograph much lately, these two I shot this evening.

Thanks, I could not resist, it is a very still and nice evening here, looks like the temperatures going down tonight to around 6C or 42F, COLD. Winter starts here on June 1st so then the temps drop to 1C and sometimes 0c or 32F. I don't know if you Americans and Canadians class that as cold but I do.:-)

Lovely shots alady, very moody and perhaps reflective of your own mood these days as you watch the cold settle in. The birds' wings are frozen in glide position. 1C is balmy for winter here but slightly on the cool side for early spring. It's a naughty temp for late spring, though. Bundle up tightly. :-)

You may be right Norm, about my mood that is:-), winter is going to be late here this year, we are still getting sunny days of 24C and winter starts in a week! By the way 1c is only ever in the coldest part of winter and at night, our average for winter daytime temps would be around 12C to 14C.
