Not the greatest quality, but I was quite excited to get this shot and share it. Black bears are abundant in Wells Gray Park at lower elevations (where visitors spend most of their time); grizzly bears are also fairly common at high elevations. In May and June you are likely to see black bears along the roadsides, where they eat grass and other "salad greens". Later in the summer they are mostly berry eaters, and especially at this time they may be encountered on the trails.
