This is the look she gave me right before she charged me. Boy am I"m glad there was a fence between us. That sure will get your heart thumping at 7:00 in the morning

This is why I shoot with a giant dog as my companion. You never know when one of the Sandpipers I shoot will get angry!

So true, Houston, I've never had a bird charge me... although there are a few who will. Get too close to a Gyrfalcon's nest and they will attack you. Diving for your head (both to hit it and to crap on you.)

I know people who go to shoot them wearing a poncho and a hard hat (and only for 5 minutes a day and then they leave.)

Nice shot, and good expression in that second one.

Sorry, no picture of her charging. I was to bizzy running. She probly would have stoped at the fence but better safe than trampled:blah: If someone had taken a picture of me running away form "Ma Bison" That woulda been a good pic.
