While on the road at work today (I take my camera all the time now) I spotted these "yellow throated miners" playing in the puddles on the roadside.

whispering sweet nothings:-)



Until rudely interrupted

Sometimes it's hard to lift off when you are waterlogged

You've outdone yourself with this series!

These are great images by anyones standard!

Really nice...(I wish I had taken them)...

Thanks for your nice comments, one thing Im never short of around here is birds. I think Ive improved my bird photos a bit but I really am lacking in the landscapes and I know I should concentrate more on them but wildlife really is more fun:-)

Thats a thought I have done this a few times, will have to do it more often.
