The weather man predicted light fog quickly breaking for sunshine. The weatherman is a member of Al Qaeda....


This Black Capped Night Heron, is taking an unusual posture. He wan't sure if I was another Heron or a buggyman. In the Background are piers and old boats, that drift periodically into the marsh, to vanish at the next high tide.


This is actually a self portrait. Certainly it looks the way I felt.


All the preceding shots were taken at 1/50, on this one I jacked up the speed to 1/60 to freeze the action...

There was heavy fog, rain and then a mist of rain...

Dave, nice work!!! wow, 1/60 to freeze the action!!! isn't it great to have such fast shutter speeds!!!!:blah: ha ha ha!!! I've never seen a black capped night heron and you seem to have your own personal model!!!

You have some pretty darned good shots here under some adverse conditions.
I think you have done a pretty good job here capturing those conditions.
