Excellent artwork! Even the frames are great! I too think the fish is masterful!

Thanks,

The fish is nicely strange. Just goes to show you can get a shot from nothing. I wasn't looking for a shot here and was concentrating on the pair of little black chicks that seemed to be a bit lost in a pond at the back of the zoo. They weren't en-caged. This is my personal favorite of the bunch as this shot is closer to what I was really aiming for at the time. Plus they were jumping around madly. Anyway as I finished I was watching what I think is carp, surfacing regularly - maybe the water had not enough oxygen, or maybe they just wanted their photo taken. haha. Anyway I had a go at it not thinking anything nice would turn out. After looking at the burst of 5 back home I noticed this rather nice one with some potential. A little rotation with a tighter crop sorted it out. I then added a blue tint to the rather murky colour of the water and was very happy when it sharpened up superbly. The detailinfullsize filehas turned out just wonderfully.

Here's one more. I don't think its the best of the bunch which is why I never included it before. I do have a number of others, but have not had time to do the necessary post processing work with them yet.

This one of the Siberian wolf has been cropped from a shot that included 2 fully grown animals. They were also on the move, so I'm actually surprised I got a picture from this shot at all that might make pass marks. Anyway I'm not sure.

Thanks very much once again for responding here. :-)

Excellent -all. I think these are some of the best photographs I have seen on these forums.

I personally love the little monkey with what looks like food in his hands. Do you think he's trying to decide what to eat first? lol

Seriously I love the DOF in that one. As it fades first in to the subject and back out along the wall. Lovely shot.

I have to say - #4 is really a great shot. Very interesting. While all are technically good shots this one was the most interesting to me. Thanks for sharing!
