I really like this shot, the birds are sharp and clear and the line of birds makes the shot alot of fun to view. Lovely color and you froze the action well. From that distance you have some nice detail in the wing too.

i'm envious!!!! most of us like to see birds closeup but, this is a really really nice shot!!!! as norm mentioned, sharp, detailed, and clear stop action!!! wow!!!

Thanks Guys,

Iwas trying to wean myself from auto mode by playing with shutter speeds and ISO on this picture. Ihadn't noticed the audience's reaction until I hadcropped the shot to study the wings of the flying bird.

I was about to comment on the "audience reaction."

This is a nice shot anyway, but having them all looking up like that makes it a bit special!
