Wonderful shots Norm! The portraits are great. That 300 + 1.4 combo seems to have
really excellect resolution. BTW, my favorite here is #1. Looks almost like this gal is
trying to tell you something.

#5 is the winner for me - thats just great

I can't see that bad lightning - don't try to getONE perfect, but several good/outstanding pics imho. And you got some for sure!

Thank you for a look at your wonderful deer photos. Best I have ever seen.

Thanks for all of your nice compliments, and glad you are enjoying the deer shots. Woodmeister, the lens is a good one, not quite as sharp as the 400 and doesn't focus quite as fastbut it does the job, handles the extender well, and has a closer focus distance than the 400. That, and the IS is the reason I purchased.
