Hello,

The only bugs we have more of than dragonflies right now are mosquitoes, so these guys have their work cut out for them. Taken with 20d, 17-85 is usm. Sharpened and resized for posting. Any suggestions on how to replace the background on the first one to make it less distracting? I had trouble with the portion you can see through the wings.

Hello aurora,

good luck with the background... the wings from a look-through point of view are a challenge, really.

Maybe you can try with some other perspective next time and catch some light on the dragonflies wings.

I got this picture to illustrate what I mean... the reflections of the sunlight on the delicate wings boost that "dont touch it" feeling.

Sorry for the blur... these fellas weren't in the mood for a "CHEESE" when I ran into them :-)
