After waiting and waiting and waiting for fly bys :?this is what i got at the swamp. All taken with 20D 100-400mm iso 400 various shuter speeds, aperatures, and EC. All hand held.

#4 Great blue heron. Unfortunately it was flying away to meet his buddies across the swamp. He came up from behind me.

#5 A small redtailed hawk. I kept hearing what was almost identical to a green heron except there was this really weird low gutteral ending to the call. I didn't find a green heron but, i found this hawk.
