Here are my first attempts at photographing some hummingbirds with my new TCON 14B. I took them last week while I was up north. Any comments/suggestions welcome.

Nice shots, looks like you were able to get pretty close or had a nice zoom lens to use. when i took some photos of them in my yard i had to move in and stay real still to keep from frightening them, tough job though.

Thanks for the comments, johnson! I was about 15 feet from them, and I was able to get these shots using a telephoto lens and a tripod. They are pretty paranoid, though, so I couldn't get as close as I would have liked to. Maybe next time.:G
