This little chappie wokeus up at 4.30am last Sunday morning. We looked out of the bedroom window and there he was, sitting in the conifers at the bottom of the garden, just waiting to be photographed. My wife took this. Her first ever attempt with my new Canon S2is. The dove was about 30ft away and the zoom is into the digital area on this shot (beyond the 12x optical) so its kept its clarity surprisingly well.

Excellent picture!! If you dont watch out your wife will soon be taking over the S2!!

One of the things I like about the S1 (and now the S2) is how good the digital zoom is; the pictures come out much better than with many budget/low end teleconverters
