Very nice shots. He looks like a happy little bird. Did you use any type of noise reduction program? Very little noise for ISO 800. That lens looks good too. Look forward to more. Woody

Yes, Woody, I did use noise reduction. But the great news for me is that there wasn't that much to remove. It hardly took any detail out of the pic. I've been very happy with this lens. I haven't seen any purple fringing yet in about 600 shots and it is macro, too. Here is a macro shot I got with it the other day.

Mullen, I've come to the conclusion that your Catbirds love you and wish to be near to you. How you get such great shots of this bird, out in the open, is beyond me. I'm simply positing a possible solution :G
