Yes, these guys are wild. They are much bigger than prairie dogs and I believe there habitat is in the central plain states. I'm from the north east part of the country.Ground hogstend to get on the bad side of gardners. You see them along the side of the road all the time when drivnig.

Ground Hogs, Woodchucks and Marmots are all the same animal. They are the largest ground squirril, and are basically an Eastern and Northern Animal.

In other words - West to the Mississipi and North to Canada, and then West, but North of the US...

I like Woodchucks, but many consider them pests. naturally they're supposed to taste like chicken...

That's a fine shot of one. And let's not forget they predict the weather....
