I noticed these two crows today chasing a potato crisp/chip packet around, they seemed to know exactly what was in the bag:-)They were quite comical

MMMM are there any left in the packet?

The wind started to blow the bag away

You stand guard and I will check this out

Still trying to get into the bag

Thanks, these are Australian Ravens or crows, the eyes are brown on some of them. They are extremely smart, we call them the jack Russell terriers of them bird world. I have driven past these in my courier van and looked in the rear vision mirror only to see them abusing me as I pass because they had to move off the road. If there is road kill in the middle of the road they will leave it until the last minute to get off the road and very slowly, just a couple of hops :-)yet you rarely see one dead on the road unlike most other birds.

heres a shot of a brown eyed one

Hmmm, junk food! :? I guess these crows/ravens aren't so different in their tastes from us. Come to think of it, my dog would go for that stuff too!

Nice series, Julie!
