This hawk was sitting a lower branch of a tree and was not intimidated by my presence.

Hopefully it is sharper than my last posts!

These are great, Jim, super shots, congratulations. I would suggest that you do a touch of selective sharpening and add a touch of contrast in order to finalize the great shoot. These shots demo the ability of the 300 very well indeed. Here is the first shot with a touch more sharpness and some contrast, but only a touch:

Reallylike the first shot Jim. The backdropcomplements the colors of the bird. As Norm pointed out, a little tiding up with PS makes all the difference although I see very little issue with original.
