This Wide-Lipped Rhino [as they are now called] is takinga rest during another "tough day in Africa".I quite like the "curled up foot and chin on the dirt" pose

This Bateleur Eagle, taken in the late afternoon sunlight, has his crown all fluffed up by the wind.

I like the stern look on his face!

Lastly, a Yellow-Bill stork. Imagine having a face like that:G

The soft pink colour in his feathers is really beautiful in real life.

Jake, you are in Wildlife Wonderland. No body anywhere else can post the stuff you are photographing. These are spectacular, all of them. I really enjoy looking at them and wondering what it would be like to be there with my 20D in hand. :-)

You'd have a ball Houston, and a sore shutter finger as well. I must agree, we are really privileged. My wife and I have booked in for a long weekend mid November, it's going to be a bit different, the foliage will be a lot greener, and also the migratory birds will be back.[and a LOT hotter !!]

cheers, and thanks for commenting, Bob and Houston:-):-)
