These represent three separate birds. The first was, as you see quite modest...:lol:

This guy was too far away but the last two shots, I had a bird who cooperated.

All of my birdsseem rather modest and never cooperative.....You get some amazing shots...and these are very nice!!! I really like seeing the talent on this wildlife forum. Thanks for sharing. bentleysmom

Wel, it's New York - money talks....:lol:

The last two shots are of a bird that a Merlin had made a pass at. He flew right from that into this tree. While I believe they are too big for THAT little Hawk, it must have given him minor heart failure. For a number of key seconds, I was the last thing on his mind...

Sounds like the Merlin's suffering from Little Hawk Syndrome. :G
I witnessed a Kestrel dive at a Mallard duck the other day. The duck wasn't quite sure what to make of the little guys attack. :O

Now THAT must of been a sight to see!!!!! He's only about ten inches long - just what would he do with a Mallard?

There ARE Peregrine Falcons where I shoot, and THEIR common name is "Duck hawk."
