Hi, I have been trying to identify the hawks that live in the trees in ours and our neighborsback yard. It is a Red-Shouldered Hawk. I spotted these guys after a walk in the neighborhood. These were taken with my fz5.(some cropping) bentleysmom

Thanks for the kind comments you all. The first picture was to show you all his chest to help identify him. The second picture was a thrill to take. He was just sitting there in the pine tree as I was walking along......I'm sure that he turned to see me....Hence the good pose. As you all know it's alot about being at the right place at the right time ....and with the right light....lol....It sure is fun when that happens!!!! nice looking bird, I dont very close to any hawks or eagles here but would love the chance.
