Squirrels usually appear mischievious, playful, sneaky, and fast to me. This is the most docile and sweet-looking squirrel I've ever seen! Isn't it amazing how you can capture more than just the animal itself - you can evoke a personality to the animal by the way it is posed or by what it is doing, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of squirrels after they started sharpening their teeth on my log home.

I heard that squirrels were the major source of protein for the early settlers of our country - abundent, usually close by, easy to shoot, and boil up quick in a pot.

As for me, I wouldn't want to try eating one.
