It's that time of year up here in NE Ohio. Hard to catch but worth it when you do. Do you think there's too much processing on this? It's sortof bland without the effects.

I think it's a very cool effect, however I'd like to see a close-up of the fisherman.

If you hadn't told me they were fishermen, I might have thought they were searching for a body or something.

Try getting in closer.

BTW, how did you create the effect? I like it alot.

Thanks for the reply, to make the effect in PSE, I made a dup layer, multiply. Then adj levels to bring the lightness up. Go back to orig layer and apply a glaus blur 15-20ish. Adjust sat to liking, you're done. I'm using a kit lens so I wasn't able to reach them without putting on some waiters.

It looks like the shots I could make with one of those old medium format "folder" cameras from the 1920's, except the color is a liittle richer!
