Just received the components last week to enable some digiscoping. This weekend our region was graced with the presence of two dozen Trumpeter Swans. It was plenty chilly but I enjoyed the opportunity to photograph these magnificant creatures.
BTW, the water remains open well below zero as this river is used for cooling a coal fired power plant. Water is drawn into the plant for cooling and the heated water is returned to the river. The ducks, geese and swans seem to love it.
