Caught this fellow with the Nikon D50 and Tamron 70-300 LD. These are the smallest birds here in Central Michigan during the winter season.

Nice catch! I had a White-breasted Nuthatch here last year, but I haven't seen him yet this year. Hopefully, he'll show for a portrait soon.

Nice shot! I like the way the coloring of the tree limb unifies with the coloring found in the bird. You commented on one of my post's photos that you should shoot in raw more often. I just started shooting raw a couple of weeks ago and can't believe the difference it has made. Again, good job:-)
