Hi Dave. These were shot in JPEG. I can still tune down the saturation some, though. Thanks. I'm not convinced from my few experiments with RAW that it's worth the extra effort yet.

Nice images. For some reason male Cardinals seem hard to shoot with digital. Almost as if the camera has a hard time with those particular red colors. Yours look good, especially the last.

I tried shooting RAW a while back and I agree... I wasn't convinced it was worth the effort either... at least not for me and my limited knowledge. I know it probably is worth it for someone who really has the knowledgeto deal with it, but I'm definitely not there yet.
