He must be getting more comfortable with me and the camera snapping because yesterday he sat there forever giving me all sorts of poses... and again today. These were actually shots from yesterday's outing. I underexposed the shot just a bit to prevent the blown highlights, then lightened it upin PS.

Shot on Shutter Priority Mode, 1/1500 sec, f/8, 185mm, ISO:400



Settings were the same as above except at 200mm.



This was the same settings as the second pic.

Thanks. I edited my post above to give my settings and exposure process. He actually did allow one (BUT ONLY ONE)shot of the other profile, but it wasn't as good.:-)

Thanks! I was happy with these as I usually get a bit more blown areas when shooting birds with a lot of white... and even the tree branches are often blown, so I felt these were definitely a success for me.
