Thanks everyone.

Terry, I'm actually using my cheapie 75-300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens that came with my Maxxum 5 film camera a couple of years ago. I was just looking at lenses today... found my wildlife DREAM lens... so called, because obviously, I'll only own it in my dreams! Here it is:

My more realistic goal is to own this one some day.

Great photos Gracie!! I wouldn't mind having one of those $8000.00 lens but I've got to be happy with my 300 for a while. A long while. :-)

Once again, and for the last time until June 2007, I wouod suggest lowering the saturation on the male Cardinal -

Wonderful shots!

Thanks everyone. Actually, the saturation is lowered just a tad, and when I tried lowering it more, it looked worse. I do have a difficult time with these guys.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"One more thing... I lowered it in PS... I didn't lower itwithin the camera itselfyet. I may try that when I have time.

Ok, I understand - after all, not ALL of the red has the sensors blown. Mask off, use layers, blah, blah blah, to reduce selected areas...
