Thanks all fortaking the time to view and comment. Dave, my wife developed a small "wild garden" area next to a largish window off one of our rooms, and it isquite a treat watching the local birds hang around eating the natural seed, as well as food we give them. The Bishops are plain, brownand drab during winter, but their redsummer plumage is quite spectacular !

That last is a fairly good description of me - let alone the Bishop Bird - But I live in Manhattan in a sub-street level apartment. I don't even know if it's daylight without actually going outside.....:?:
