Downloaded this pic of a Crow I took and thought....what????

I don't know if it may be blind in that eye OR from facingtoward the sun (not very bright due to front coming in)

VP,

It is very possible that this bird was blind in that eye, however, I believe you snapped it right at the time he blinked. Most species on earth have either an eyelid or a nictating membrane. Birds have nictating membranes that serve as eyelids and protect their eyes and keep them moist. They are often milky white in color, and that is what I think you caught here. I have many photos like this.

I took a couple more and looked at those and they appear the same in that eye.
