Hi Dan

I've been going to Bow Valley Provincial Park - about 45 minute drive west of Calgary. The place is loaded with birds. Right now you can find boreal chickadees, black capped chickadees, mountain chickadees, kinglets, waxwings, hairy woodpeckers and three-toed woodpeckers. If you are really lucky you may see bald eagles and the odd dipper. Summer is even better!

If you live in Calgary, a great place to practice is at Pearce Estate. Let me know if you need better directions.

Thanks for the compliment and good luck with the new camera!
