These first two shots of the Brandt, caught my eye because of the quiet water, and the wonderful reflections of dawn. And every dawn casts a different light. They are shot from a few hundred yards off. It's unusual for another reason. The sharp and crisp neck markings are quite different from the usual drab or dab of white on the brandt neck. I've never seen one like this.

This image, taken at a different place, also caught my attention. This, was taken from only about 150 feet. The shot after, of a Canadian Goose, was actually a close-up for me - being only fifty feet off. It's a Full Frame shot.

Probably a rebellious teenager trying to stand out. I do think I see a Bill piercing.. Just up from his tribal tattoo in frame 2.

Might be. He was hanging out with some punk looking Red Breasted Mergansers - clearly a bad influence...(:G)
