What a gorgeous morning it turned out to be here on Saturday. Buzzsaw and I spent the morning at Colville park in Red Wing, Minnesota. By my count at around 8:30 am there were 29 Eagles using the area. We saw a total number of around 150 birds by driving to Wabasha and back. Here's a few of my photos from our morning. These are all cropped by roughly 30-35%. Tough subjects to get with only a 300mm.















and a pretty nice kicker here with the Common Goldeneye

I really like #3. Perfect shot if it wasn't for the branches in front of the bird. You might want to PS them out as the other branches behind and above make for a wonderful picture composition.
