The crow and the magpie were flying around so i thought i would try and capture them soaring in the breeze.

Beautiful shots. Very sharp with an uncluttered background. I especially like the Magpie...wonderful contrasting colors. Woody

The color markings on the Magpie make them a ratherpretty bird. Nice inflight shot!

Magpies rule. Simple little beggars, but they are hard to photograph.

Easy enough to get some stills, because they aren't shy. These pilots can do some very artsy manuevers in the air, and that's another story. Because of their stiking colors, and beautiful contrast, they are very pleasing to watch when they fly, and even more satisfying is getting a picture like this one. I know they're hard to get a good focus on, but this one's really nice.
