These little Geese are strict vegetarians, and a friendly group of "ronkers," as opposed to "honkers."

About the same size as a large duck, they almost became extinct when the eel grass disappered. Fortunately they learned how to eat grain. Now the eel grass is back and the Geese are happily eating it again.

For some reason, these birds are the hardest to photograph of all, and I'm pleased when conditions are right. This is one time I have to ask my dog to head down the beach and leave me with the Geese. They are NOT fond of photographers and even less so of huge Wolf like dogs.

My Dear Jake

This is to inform you that I have just cancelled the "contract" that I had taken out on you. Your shots are ALL ones I wished I had taken. I had hoped to eliminate the problem of seeing any of your shots in the future, by having some "friends" of mine pay you a visit.

Thankfully this kind remark of your has caused me to rethink this. Plus of course this kind of contract is getting soooooooo expensive. Greed, a terrible thing. So you have boosted my ego and saved me money at the same time.

Thanks again.

Dave

Great shots. Hate to be a parrot but no 4 really caught my eye. Got much pleasure from these photos.
