Was out Saturday and was really trying to get some flight shots. The last 2 are about the only ones worth keeping. The yellow-rumped warbler flew in, "posed" and one shot later was gone. All with 20D 500mm & 1,4X TC all handheld.

Those Warblers are so jumpy, they are all over the locations I'm shooting Wood Ducks and everytime I try to line them up in my sights, it's bye bye! Nice picture however! That goose shot was taken mid day wasn't it? I'm just guessing that based on the shadows under the bird.

Nice shots Dennis, and one of the few times I've seen a Mallard without a smile. He was probably annoyed that you were shooting his bad side.
