My first guess was marsh wren, just because of the size and where it was found. Does it weave a ball-like nest (fully enclosed) out of the reeds? If so, then it isn't a house wren, it's a marsh wren.

But from the image (accepting that its lacking some detail due to back lighting) I'd guess a house wren as well. The best way to tell, leveraging the image we have, is the marking just behind the eye and behavour.

I think you nailed it Eric. Marsh wren sounds right to me now. The nest is a ball in the reeds and it was going back and forth to it. I found it in a bird book too, and it sounds right. The "chirps" it puts out are described very well. Thanks for the help........thekman.
