May I make a humble recomendation?

I find getting in flight shots of these birds quite easy. Simply take along that most valuble of accessorys - The BB Gun. Shoot the bird (which is no where near as difficult as shooting with a camera), then have your assistant attach a string and spin the bird around a slow path. True, there is a certain quality which is lacking in these kinds of shots, but if you include underbrush, it will take on more life like attributes.

A really nice shot of the Swallow. They are truly beautiful birds with that shade of blue contrasting with the white.
