Went back to try to get some more king rail shots but he seems to have left the area. But, the Virginia rail is still close by due to the flooded area. All shots with 20D 100-400mm and flash. all handheld.

1. Virginia rail coming towards me. A bit from the high side and even with flash there is motion blur. they do move fast when necessary.

2. Virginia rail moving quickly across a small clearing. They seem to be a bit timid in the open. As long as something has been in front of them, they seem to be quite tame.

3. This chipmunk seemed to be as shy as the rail but, he always seemd to stay close to us.

Very nice set of shots, and the littlefat jaws on the chipmunk are just great
