This is one of the bird shots I took, I probably shouldn't have picked such a hard bird, but please let me know what you think, I also cropped out the feeder. Does the quality look low, how can I make the image a small size,for the web and keep good quality?

Nice first bird shots. !! What ISO were you using? I always shoot in aperture priority but for this case if the lighting was good enough you would have to shoot in shutter priority for sure. If you could get close enough to use fill flash you could stay in aperture priority and open it right up to keep the background as blurry as possible. Well done.
