This Huge tusker would not budge off the road, he just ambled down, and of course, the drivers on thereceivingside of him just had to reverse and reverse and reverse, until he found a little spot of shade under a tree next to the road, where he turned off and nonchalantlystood in the shade looking all innocent like

A Hooded Vulture - It was part of a group that were at a lion kill [a giraffe]. the lions were sleeping it off, I managed to get a shot of grass and a whisker or two, however, here is the vulture.

This Impala ewe shot was also taken in the "Golden hour" - the hour after sunrise or before sunset. She's not doing much, but I like the lighting [alsothe blade of grass in her lips]

Lastly, this Long-Tailed Starling looks pretty digusted with his meal, some bug that he'd picked up. The bug looked quite dilapidated, so he probably was playing around with it, not eating it [Or maybe trying to beg something from us, like a street person shaking a can :?]

Strange? looks better then what I normally eat...

I'm impressed with your roadblock, and am suffering from elephant envy. I often think of showing our Brooklyn equivalents, Brooklyn Bunnies, crushing cars as they back down the Marsh paths - But that would be a lot of work in Photoshop, and you still wouldn't believe it...

(And I enjoy the look on that Impala's face - Yes indeed, it's subtle, but a great capture)
