I was so close to these birds, that I had to back up. Camera wouldn't focus. Yes, they're the fed variety. I think they were too full to fly and were more interested in snoozing and grooming.....Don

I've never had an easy time approaching the Black Birds, and they are never easy to shoot. Wonderful work!

Hi Don - Nice captures = Hope you don't mind, just a little editting trick that one can do with eyes - Use the burn tool in PS or Elements or whatever [usemidtonewith a very low opacity brush], and it can improve the eyes by removing the glare, without taking away the catchlight.

Thanks Jake! Nice edit on the eye. I'll have to try that out. I'm not that good a ps, but I'll give it a go. Nice weather you're having. I'd love that type of temp variation... cheers........Don.
