At least I think it's a Peregrine. That's all I could find that matched this fellow. I've never seen one of these before up close-at least not in the wild.....cheers....Don.

It lacks the distinct helmet of the Peregrine. I would say you have a Merlin! Nice shots!!!!

Really nice shots mate. I havn't seen this bird of prey before, but I am familiar with the Peregrine Falcon. I am interested in this bird very much.

Great stuff.

Hi again Dave. I showed this shot to one of our local bird experts, and he thinks it's a young juvenile Coopers Hawk. I don't know. There seem to be so many hawks and falcons that look like this guy, maybe I'll make my own name up....the Kmanhawk...I like that...:G....cheers.....Don.
