Low light conditions / Canon S2IS & Sony VCL-DH1758 Tele Lens
What do you think? Should I get a SLR?

Great pose on this shot Jeff. Well, a dslr will probably improve the sharpness of this shot, if you have a decent lens. And shooting wildlife is a lot easier - faster focus and shutter speeds-less noise etc. But then there's the money...mind you, with prices the way they are now, you can get a half-a__ed 300mm zoom and a stabilized camera body (pentax k100 for example), for well under $1000. That seems like a pretty good deal to me. I paid $850C for a FZ20 2 years ago!. Hope this helps.......cheers......Don.
