G'day Billy

and I have also read your heartfelt words of praise for a well admired man who obviously was also a good friend.

Special hug to you also, Phil

Many years ago, when I bought my first digital camera, this was probably the one website that helped me the most in transitioning from film to digital. He was good at explaining things and posting digital examples on the site. The web site has definitely grown a lot from those early days, but still remains one of my favorite.

I came here nearly 11 years ago seeking advice for a DSLR. This is the best website for all things photographic, and home to a great bunch of friendly folks that share a common hobby. In spite of his passing, I think Steve's will continue to be the best of the best. I never conversed with him, or knew much about him, but I wish his family peace.
