aghh thats real nice is that jack, My mam likes it too:cool:

i blurred the background but didn't put enough feather on the lasso so it left a sharp outline around her figure:roll:

Try softening the edge with the blur tool at low opacity to correct, (about 5%,) be subtle with it. Pleased to hear mum likes it

I used to take pictures of all the new hires at work. Under harsh lighting, everyone would get that shine on their face unless they were wearing heavy makeup. I just go in with the brush and lightly paint over it with nearby color tones.

I made a few changes to the levels, added a slight vignette, and did the background blur. I blurred it by using the pen tool to select her, then made a selection from it and copied her into the foreground. I then inverted the selection, copied the background, put that layer beneath her and applied a gaussian blur.

I hope you don't mind, but I tried to make her smile a bit more as well. If you think it looks weird, I could post one without.

Haha everything looks spot on Smile doesn't look too bad either.
Can i see the one without the smile please;)The blurred background looks better then mine:cool:
