Since I do not have a lightning trigger, I don't even think I could use one with my Canon A75, I find the best way to capture lightning in daylight hours is to use the video mode at the max resolution. The captures of course aren't as good as photos, but can any of you photoshoppers improve them?

Cleaned up and slight sharpen, removed lines like Steve did on the other pic, reduced the attention on the street light rather than removed it. Cleaned the sky a little and partially defringed trees. Need to keep some noise to keep the definition.
