this photo was taken about 10 years ago, and ive tried several times to fix it, but im too inexperienced with photoshop and fail every time :( is there any hope to fixing it?

This is a little better...If you send me a good resolution I may be able to do more. This resolution is only 72.

Dana is right. Bigger file to work with will give you better results.

IMO, even with higher res we'll struggle with this one, there's a lot of noise and artifacts.

Was this taken with a digital camera? Or was it film, and this is a scan?

I thought, if this was a scan from a print, going back to the print or even the negative would have been a better attempt at saving this picture.
