How can i overcome the overexposure of the eye?

I'm not absolutely sure what you're asking here. In your pic the left eye has taken more light (smaller iris ) I think you want to get rid of the highlights in the cats eyes.what I've done... in PS ... cloned out the highlights in the right eye then copied and pasted this to a new canvas, from there I flipped it to get a mirror image, then after selecting wit the lasso tool + 2 pixel feather, dragged it onto the original pic with the move tool, did a free transform to get the orientation correct then placed it over the original left eye. Is this what you wanted ?.
