Good job, digicamfan !

Here's mine.

P.S. :

- rotation

- vertical skew

- copy and paste of the top of the chimney of the original image on top of every chimney to compensate the strong skew.

- crop

- level adjustment

- automatic contrast

- global saturation enhancement

- local saturation enhancement on cyan parts with the sponge tool

- digital erasing of the chimney on the left

my take, just a little bit different:-)

i like very much the colors and overall tonality of digcamfan one, it's a real good job.

sergio, thank you for another great lesson in composition! It is really more interesting without that chimney on the left.

aladyforty your makeover really reminds me the vertigo I felt when I took it (I used the 10x zoom so I was quite high!). Very interesting.

Thank you for your posts.

I'd love to turn those chimneys into trumpet valves. I just don't have a trumpet photograph and I can't find one. :(

ferny it's a great idea!!

take a look at these links: Picc-trumpet-large-01.jpg

found searching trumpet in google images. there are several other results.

hope this helps!!

Good imagination, DanielT2.

Heheh, thanks. I actually goofed, as I forgot to reverse the little cement part on the bottom of the ones on the left side, but oh well. Not in the mood to fix it. The point was made.
